Summary:

The client wanted to install PV on the roof of their offices in the centre of Lincoln, before the FIT ended. Avonside Renewables worked to a tight deadline with a rapid turnover from design to installation. As part of the package, we allowed for the following services:

  • Structural survey
  • A weekend crane lift to minimise disruption to workers
  • Installation of ballasted handrail by our preferred contractors HeightSafe Systems
  • External DC runs, protected in galvanised square trunking, allowing for the inverter to be located in the main plant room as required by the client
  • Upgrade of panels to optimised panels to allow for maximum generation whilst allowing for some shade by near objects at roof level
  • Installation of all components completed in 4 days
