The Opportunity

At the Avonside Group we have an exciting opportunity based in our Dundee office for a Contracts Manager to join us.

Avonside are the UK’s largest service provider to the new-build housing sector. With over 35 branches across the UK providing roofing, plumbing, energy and renewable energy solutions to the new-build and social housing sectors, we are ideally placed to provide a national service with the care, attention to detail and high service levels that our customers have come to expect.

We are looking to add a talented, customer-service-focused Contracts Manager to our team.

Role and Responsibilities

• Managing a number of new build contracts across a geographical region
• Providing outstanding customer service and support to clients
• Management and organisation of the procurement of materials, plant and labour in line with the scheduled project plan
• Providing accurate information to enable subcontractor payments to be made
• Monitoring, controlling, analysing and reporting on project costs
• Quality Control
• Ensuring a safety-first onsite culture

What You Bring

• Ideally two years’ experience in contract management within the roofing sector, although experienced site managers looking to make the next step will also be considered
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Previous experience overseeing Health and Safety
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent IT skills, including Word and Excel
• Ability to prioritise and manage your own workload
• Full driving licence
