Avonside Group’s Roofing network of 48 branches across the UK enjoy the fortunate position of having the resources and capabilities of an established national company but offer the personal, hands-on approach of a local organisation.

Now, Avonside Group are looking for a NetSuite Systems Administrator to join the central IT function of the company and be based at either our Head Office in Heywood or Enderby in Leicestershire.

About the Role and Training Opportunities

We will provide support to the candidate to improve their skillset with direct in-system experience, in-house guidance, and external training including NetSuite certification if desired. Over time, we’d like to see the role develop into a vital part of the business’ IT function.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 1+ years of direct NetSuite / ERP system experience
  • The ability to create and edit Saved Searches and/or Reports
  • Prior experience with process automation and workflows
  • User interface customisation
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles is preferable, but not essential
  • The ability to work directly with end users, and translate issues and ideas into technical requirements

Role and Responsibilities

  • Enhancing and administering the NetSuite platform in line with business objectives
  • Troubleshooting, training and providing support on technical and data issues
  • Gathering, analysing and reporting on requirements from internal users
  • Testing and evaluating the new NetSuite functionality across the business to streamline processes
  • Creating reports and customising NetSuite to support new requirements
  • Supporting the rollout of new modules across the business
  • The successful applicant will play a key role in the transition of business processes, overall systems integration, configuration, implementation, testing and reporting whilst assisting and training end users to ensure streamlined functionality of the platform
