The Opportunity

Avonside Plumbing Services is part of the Avonside Group – the UK’s largest service provider primarily to the new build housing sector. Alongside our Plumbing division, we have our Energy, Renewables, and Roofing divisions, employing over 400 people across almost 40 different sites across the UK.

We are in a really exciting stage of our growth and development with a strong pipeline of work, ambitious growth plans and the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) called NetSuite to allow us to more efficiently and effectively manage our finance, procurement, and operations functions.

To support us in our ambition to deliver an excellent, right-first-time customer experience on every occasion we are currently seeking a Trainee/Apprentice Administrator within our Plumbing division.

About the Role

Based in the Worcester office you will be joining a well-established team during an exciting time in their growth plans. Full training and development will be given and where appropriate we will support the successful applicant with appropriate courses and external training.

The role will be based in the Worcester office Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Supporting the office based team with all admin activities
  • Keeping accurate and up to date records
  • Dealing with customer queries
  • Handling incoming calls

What You Will Bring to the Role

  • Ideally, some previous administration experience, however more important is an interest in developing as an administrator and a hands-on, can-do approach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage your own workload
  • IT skills – including Word and Excel
